Compatibility
Does the Licensed Edition work with UCPD.sys?
Yes. The Licensed Edition includes a solution for the UCPD.sys protection driver.
Microsoft applies additional protection to HTTP, HTTPS, and PDF associations. SetUserFTA currently provides solutions for these protections, but the appropriate approach can depend on your environment. If you plan to deploy SetUserFTA on Windows 10 or Windows 11, request a trial and verify it in your environment first. Windows Server is not affected by this protection.
Does SetUserFTA support UserChoiceLatest (AppDefaultHashRotation)?
UserChoiceLatest is currently enabled only on consumer editions of Windows 11, such as Home and Pro. SetUserFTA does not target those editions. If Microsoft introduces the feature in enterprise editions, support will be added.
Does SetUserFTA require an internet connection?
No. SetUserFTA does not connect to online resources when it runs.

Licensing
How is SetUserFTA licensed?
Licensing is calculated per user who will run SetUserFTA. The same model applies to Remote Desktop Services and Citrix environments.
Which license types are available?
Available license types include Standard, MSP, Site, EDU, NFR, and Administrator licenses. Request a quote to discuss the right option for your environment.
Do you offer a Site License for unlimited users?
Yes. A Site License is available for organizations with a large number of users. Contact us for pricing.
Does SetUserFTA require activation?
No online activation is required. The license is supplied as a license file and can also be imported into the Windows registry.

Is a trial version available?
Yes. You can use the Personal Edition for basic testing, or request a time-limited trial of the current Licensed Edition through the quote form.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit cards through Stripe and payment by bank transfer.

Is the executable digitally signed?
Yes. Every executable supplied to customers is digitally signed. Contact us if your deployment has a specific signing requirement.
Can I integrate SetUserFTA functionality into my own application?
Depending on your requirements, partial source code licensing may be available for integration into your application. Please contact us with a short description of your use case.
